Sourcing a deck/hull fitting?

My bowsprit is lifting a little so I need a couple of stays down to the hulls. I could use U bolts but pulling at a 45 degree angle would just deform the U shape and cranked U bolts are hard to find. What I would like seems simple enough say a 3"x3.5" plate with a couple of fixing holes and a substantial welded lug with (say) a 10mm hole to take the end of a rigging screw or shackle. Made of 8 or 10mm stainless.

This type of thing only substantial and just a single lug.
I am surprised that I cannot seem to source a couple of these. Any ideas gratefully received?

Dont know what sort of boat you have, apart from presumably being a multihull of some sort, therefore difficult to make any really intelligent suggestions but how about using eyebolts. They could be set at the required angle.

The stays you want to add are called bobstays, and there are specific fittings for them on monohulls. I don't know whether they'd be suitable, perhaps by mounting at an angle, for your need though.

You might also find something suitable searching for chainplates.

If all else fails, Mr MacPhail at Classic Marine would be able to make something (as could plenty of stainless fabricators, no doubt).

I have an eye bolt for my bobstay fitting but I have a steel boat with a very thick steel bow.

On a GRP boat I would go for something like this.

Which has a greater number of fixing to spread the load over a greater area of the bow structure.

Any stainless steel fabricator could make one in short time,

I afraid I can't help with your query, but what you illustrate might be just the job for something I need to do. Where did you find it, please?

They are called deck canopy fittings, lots on e bay or J Clarke marine. Straight up or angled.
