source of cheap 12 volt batteries?

Don't know about 110ah, but I got my 75ah leisure battery for £25 quid from Trago Mills down here.... at least half price basically. There are quite often offers in PBO from Gael Force I think, but Compass do relatively cheap ones I believe.
 
or Truck battery suppliers ...

Find out where truckers get their's from ..... they are not going to spend unnecessary dosh !! But they need reliable stuff.
 
I similiarly tried to get some earlier this year via the web. The problem is that they asre so heavy the cost of delivery outweighed any saving. Though I bought some from an internet supplier they worked out no cheaper than a "special" offer from my local chandlery - where it would have been a lot easier to complain that the so-called 105ah leisure batteries looked very suspiciously like the 85ah engine start battery (ie down to the nearest millimetre in size) !
 
I bought a 110ah battery from the agricultural supplier in Dorchester last year, which I thought was a good price as it was the same price as the last one that I bought. Then I found one at the car accessories shop in Yeovil about a fiver or so cheaper.
It just goes to show that shopping around is OK up to a point, then it costs you more in petrol going from A to B.
