Hi,

I want to line my new anchor locker with black rubber mat when it is built and wondered if anyone here knows a supplier of something suitable ?

Thanks,

Boo2

One of those door mats made of bits of rubber linked together ...... Probably not the wire linking would corrode as I doubt if it is anything better than galvanised steel wire.

A piece of conveyor belt would be good. The bit I have is about 5/16" thick. Came from one of the old coal fired power stations.

I lined my anchor locker with old conveyor belting, don't know of a supplier in the UK but I have lots left over but I am a bit far away.

I did exactly this. Bought two rubber door mats from 'The Range' store and cut them to shape. Joined the two parts with black cable ties. The mats I ended up with were a thick black rubber honeycomb design (probably an inch thick) which should offer good drainage but plenty of protection. I think they cost around £5.50 each.

Similar to this one http://www.therange.co.uk/hedon-rubber-door-mat//the-range/fcp-product/65271
