Having sailed after catheterisation both in 2023 and 2024, I can confirm that sailing garments and indeed the sailing outings arent really suited to pee bags - rowing was particularly stressing in our rather confined dinghy

Sailing though stressy was less embarassing that accidentally kicking drain tap while talking to commodore at a formal dinner

Things must be different down your way. Up here, the windward shore is the one from which the wind is blowing. Your definition sounds a bit lubberly for a sailing forum.

The man on the shore is certainly facing to windward if the yacht has a lee shore. So poor W still gets peed on.

Mind you I wouldnt sail any boat close enough to a lee shore for even the most vigorous urine stream to be able to get to shore

A lot of sane and perfectly nice people can also be wrong. Anyway, I have yet to find myself standing on a lee shore facing the sea and find the wind blowing on my back.
