Sound bursts

Recently when reading text on any of the YBW sites I have had short bursts of sound. Sometimes I get a recognisable female american voice saying "your PC" and then nothing. My MacAfee has recently blocked something too so I think there might be someone trying to hack in????? Has anyone else experienced this? It does not happen on any other site. Only YBW.........

I had that today as well, then realised I had turned off the Ad-blocker earlier to view a newspaper site: switched it back on, and haven't had any trouble since.

Yes. I've had it too. A few times. Cannot remember where I was at the time though.

Wot dom said. It's an ad. Use adblock. YBW is the worst site on the internet for this shite, it's completely uncontrolled and nobody in charge seems to give a toss.

I am worried it may be more sinister than that because MacAfee alerts me that it has blocked a potentially harmful intrusion every time it happens. The longest burst I got said "Your PC is".... So it sounded a bit like some A hole was trying to scam me before MacAfee blocked it.
