The Dufour 24 stlll throwing up surprises, discovered a second mainsail in a space behind the galley and the table was up in the focsle with hooks attached but no obvious place to hook it in the saloon .The bunk top was brought back to fit a standard toilet seat to to check the idea out. These brief visits Dont give enough time to fix things so planning a few days aboard equipped with tools .There is nice ferretería at the entrance to the marina so should be ok for stuff. Will have to find a better cafe as the nearest is full of noisy fishermen…..and no croissants🙁

Is it a cockpit table perhaps?

And don't be sniffy about noisy fishermen, they're the people who will help you out if they accept you, and run you down if they don't. Their bar will be cheaper too.

Yes spent Anya hour in the “cafe bar marina”……..but lack of crossants for breakfast is seriously bad😂

Be careful what you wear in the fishermens' cafe, Wandsworth. A recent thread suggested they disapprove of yachting attire.

If conversation ceases when you walk in, watch out!

In Aberdeen it might involve a deep fried Mars Bar
They dont seem to like fish very much either.
Not suprised fishing boat owners set their ships away expecting the crews to eat fish ,saving a lot of money a very good thing for a Scotsman. In mybrieftimein the Galician fishing the owners had the same idea but Britishfishermen who made up half the crew on the Spanish trawler expected “meat and two veg” after years battling for a better life at sea!
