Just wanted to say thanks to all for your helpful advice & encouragement on here, the OH has been working pretty much solidly over the last 7 months getting our various niggles sorted and our first boat back into some kind of usable condition. So I thought I'd update those that have helped and share the story of our first outing this year...(if it's not too boring)
We finally got our BSC on Friday and set off for a weekend away taking in the islands at Cliveden (Fri night), the Bounty for a spot of lunch Saturday, and the Dog and Badger (Medmenham) for a bit of scram and a few shandies Sat evening. We then made an early start Sunday (got up at 5.30am as the mist looked pretty and the hangover wasn't as bad as I'd feared
) to blast back home.
Just managed to get down through Boulters as all the hydraulic fluid had leaked out of the lock and the engineer arrived to try and fix it. Sometimes, just sometimes, lady luck seems to look down on the old tub!

Getting dunked back in.
New cooker (and new surround, made of 6mm Supaflex, formica laminate and with an aluminum heat shield at the back)
