To the sail boat i went far to close to on the solent today. I was distracted by something happening on my boat which made me loose focus for for 30 seconds. No harm done no collision just way to close once again sorry

I'm just back from a boating holiday in south west Florida, close quarters means something completely different there. Not that it was a problem, just that where we are resident, there is no need to be within 5 boat length. Nonetheless, there's a difference between making a mistake and not giving a toss, I'm sure if the other party sees this, all will be forgiven

now this is close quarters, yotistboat dragged it's mooring, got lea side of mine and spent the rest of the tide beating itself against my boat! and guess what.............he didn't have insurance, don't you just love em.
