Sorry to be boring....

The thread form will be slighly different but the pitch (14 threads per inch) is the same as 1/2" BSP

A 1/2" BSP fitting with ptfe tape to seal the joint will almost certainly fit and be adequate for your needs if you cannot easily get NP fittings. Your local Plumbers merchant will have BSP but will be unlikely to have the American National Pipe threaded fittings.

A 1/2"BSP die nut run down the threads will make them a perfect fit to BSP fittings

and I need to know what connectors to buy to connect to 1" hose I have coming from the sea cock. Can anyone point me in the right direction, I have no idea what NPSM is...

B and Q garden hose brass connectors for taps???? As Vic says maybe need PTFE.

You can get the correct ones from Home Depot in the STates or Canadian Tyre and Princess Auto in Canada. :D:D Heaven knows why a british maker uses them I got my pump in Canada and so picked up a handfull in BC.

Neither do I. It's normally BSP. British Standard Pipe.

As said above a good plummers merchant or engineers store should sort it out.

I suspect it'a re named BSP. Nearly everything to do with pipe is BSP.

It says 1/2 inch male, so you need a half inch to one inch female cuppler, then back to male There are various way of a chiving this. Sorry My confusers gone kwakers..

BUT IT'S quite easy.

You need a 1/2" female to 1" hose connection, probably to be made up from several fittings screwed together over PTFE. You didn't read the literature, it is offered with "1/2" - NPSM connections" meaning either will do.

and if imperial, should one use the left- or the right-handed rivet gun ?

I feel we should know the details, it's no use going ill-prepared for a job, is it ?
