hi all.....im taking my S24 Thanks Mum to the hamble for 1 last swim of this year over this weekend, so that will GUARANTEE 50/50 weather AT BEST...i know lots of you folks will enjoy your boats through the winter, but, i hate the cold and the cold hates me..im also using the "excuse" to swmbo that i can only service the engine when "warm", (not strickly a lie) but its easyer to get the oil out !.....................................ANYWAY APOLOGIES FOR THE WEEKEND WEATHER IN ADVANCE !!!!!!!!

We will also be out playing this weekend, plan is probably night in Island Harbour at the moment...

Grrrrr! Don't get back till Saturday morning so will be watching the weather from front room! Fingers crossed the weather plays ball for you all!

hi z1ppy......dont know where you are but if it,s somewhere hot pleasssssse bring some warm sun back......how is boat?? i heard it had some sort of leg prob......regards steve
 
It's 11 at night, 28 degrees and chuffing humid! It's not coming back with me on the plane! Not the weather to be working In for sure!

Boat is good, cable issue rather than anything serious! Should be fixed now but still ashore and thinking I get bow thruster fitted next week maybe....
 
I will be down too and may even take the boat out single handed for the first time which of course will require a little berthing help and a good excuse for a little soiree no doubt... if you're able to hold a beer in one hand and catch a rope in tuther, please get in touch and I'll head your way:D

Don't believe him, I've tended his lines on more than one occasion, all I got was lumpy coffee, he told me it was a Caffé Latte, me just bein' a country boy I believed him ;)
 
:(:(:( I for the first time will not be accompanying the H down to the boat. I shall instead be caring for my poorly sickly mum. Not that I begrudge her my care and attention in her hour of need...much!!! Luv 'er to bits really but seriously...having an op the week we get our new (to us) boat is just plain selfish! ;) Enjoy your time people :).

Thankyou both, she's minus a few organs but fine now :):). Yes please Steve if you see her...she now has 'Lisilou' printed on her bum! :).

[looked like it's turning winter down here, but after two days of 15-16 and the first rain of the season, we're up to mid 20ies so happy again]
