After using a Seagull for 2 years, I finally opted for a 4 stroke. More quiet, and especially fuel efficient. After doing some research about brand, bought a used Tohatsu 2.5 on ebay for £260. Very happy with. I use it only to go to my mooring and back and since we lifted in at Easter, I used only 1.5 litre of fuel. Parts are available everywhere and the quality is very good. Really recommend it.
Ps. I do really like Seagull, rebuild mine from A to Z, but it leaks. Always leaks. And sucks the fuel 4 times faster than my Tohatsu.
