I've got my log on details and can even print the license but I am trying to add a VHF portable and an Epirb. When I get to the end and save the info and put in a name for it then it all just disappears the actual license details haven't changed when I checked and I cannot find where these named amendment files have gone.

On the top of the details page there are four boxes and one of 'em says surrender, well I do now.

Anyone possibly give us a clue as to whats supposed to happen. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Problem sorted by phone call to very nice young lady at Ofcom who sorted it out from her end. Still not sure what was wrong.

I added a potable radio to mine without problem.

IIRC

You select the licence you want to amend from the list (Probably the only one anyway!)

Click on 'EDIT' followed by 'OK' on the next screen followed by 'Continue application' and 'Add licence detail'

Then add the new equipment and make any other changes you need to.

Finally 'Save licence detail' ( I think you may have to go right through to page 9 otherwise it will only save it as a partially completed application, maybe that's where you went wrong)

Then you select the licence again from the opening page that you have been returned to then you can 'Download and print'

I went through all the pages until you get to the one were you have to give it a name for saving it after that it just got parked according to the nice girl on the other end of the phone, two minutes and she had it loaded properly and I now have my updated and printed license.

They really ought to give some thought to naming there buttons to click, the one saying surrender was very tempting when I was struggling with it all. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

[/ QUOTE ] I thought it only did that if you are saving a partly completed application. I have not done that. If you save the completed application from the last page (P9) it seems to generate its own id but maybe i missed something.
