Popped down to the boat today in Chi Marina.

The sun was shining, people all around cleaning and painting their boats, lots of boats going out and not a bit of snow or ice to be seen!

Actually warm under the canopy, had to take off my jumper for a bit.

Didn't go out as single handed but did spend a couple of hours just thinking about the lovely times I will have over the season.

You're right, a lovely couple of days in fact. I'm dreaming of Spring, son is dreading it as he gets hay-fever! Noticed the days are already getting longer, little by little.

However, don't put the wellies away just yet, next week is getting colder again, and the States have had a surprise 10" of snow yesterday. Bearing in mind Weather Action's long range forecast of severe weather here in February, plus how whatever the States gets seems to wander over here and give us the same.............................?

Yeah, everybody busy working in Caernarfon too. I'm grabbing a quick couple of days before it all closes in again. Left her in over winter for the chance of a couple of nice clear still days for trips up & down the Straits & this is the first trip in 3 months! Doh!

Mind you, it's all the better for the wait!

Not so good in North Lincs,been damp and foggy last couple of days.In 30 years boating this has got to be the worst winter for getting outside jobs done.Lets hope we get a nice summer.
