Somewhere to dry out along side?

Looks like a good opportunity in a weeks time, 19-22 Feb, some big spring tides

I'm on the hard at the moment having a new prop... but on the plus side, I just acquired some beaching legs which means I'll be a little more confident about going into try it out :)

If you go let me know how you get on!

the wall at Tenby is also really nice to dry alongside, good ladders, toilets showers shore power and a 'crew room' with lounge, kitchen and dining room complete with well stocked tea and coffee cupboard. reasonably firm sand as well to work on the boats. £15 first night then £10 afterwards and the harbour master is really sound. Got to be one of the best places to visit in the channel, never been across carmarthen bay without seeing dolphins!

Second thoughts on Barry old harbour. I just walked there. A small yacht or fishing boat would be ok, but anything drawing more than 1m would be pushing it, even on springs. Also i'm sure the sand shifts about so there is no guarantee what the depth will be.
