Something went wrong …. It didn’t P One Five Five down, it didn’t blow 40 kts, the champagne was cold ,everything worked to plan, a large fleet turned out, the sun was shining, all yachts were “ dressed” and smartly turned out as they sailed past the Official boat with the V.I. P s on board and gave 3 cheers, as we dipped Ensigns .. (Bet you don’t do that anymore)

Of course it was the Official Opening of the season and the Sail Past.. Apart from the Mayor, Local and Federal members of Parliament etc, I had on board several people who are supporting our bid for the 2011 Americas Cup, which will be held in Melbourne, providing we win it from the Swiss…..

Yep, as you pack up your yachts .. we are out there starting our season
