As always I remark that there is no place for a decent tender ... I guess the Ferrari can swim. Front view is a bit hindered and reaching the bow for the menial job of mooring etc looks not really safe but who am I to understand the intricacies of modern boating ?

Happy 2022 to everyone ! btw this is a study from Lazzarini, "Gran Turismo Mediterraneo".

:) May as well put a Alka Seltza on the bathing platform and watch that dissolve before you pass the marina entrance.

Needs covering up .

Once parked a car at the garage du Peche in Monaco .It forms the outer mole
Took the lift up and there was a large yacht side on.
See the pic here the LHS , the brown roof and the big boats side on .One on its stb side

A side door was open and on a cantilever crane they had a Testarossa in the hoists . Crew carefully lowered it to the ground removed the tyre slings and proceeded to attempt to open it .
New crew obviously never done this before as they fumbled about trying to get in .
I went up and showed them where the concealed door handles were ( as I used to have one ) and opened the door .
One jumped in and attempted to start it he couldn’t.
So I jumped in and pumped the peddle three times and caught it got it running etc .
The Filipino crew were ever so grateful.Nice fellows .

When all the pleasantries were over I asked them “ what would happen if the boat was berthed on its port side “ you know the other way round ?
I was told “ There’s another door on that side the owner had TWO “ The boat had indeed another identical door with another car one on each side so it did not matter which side the boat was berthed .

That’s the way to do it ,
Carry two in weather tight compartments one each side .
