I understand that they went out of business years ago, and i assumed that they had sold their moulds. Beyond that, sorry, I can't help.

thx joe..... i thought they were no longer in business......just have seen a boat for sale I'm interestred in, it was built in 1989 and wondered if they built it? or someone else used the mould or indeed the boat was not built in 1989 cheers anyway!

Hi

I sail a Teign 7 metre yacht manufactured by Somerset Plastics in 1979.
I have tried some research on Somerset Plastics and believe they were taken over in the early 1980s but I am not sure if they continued manufacturing under a new name.
I would be interested in any info you dig up.
