This was sunk about 3 miles out of Cabo de Palos, Spain. It is an Astondoa 40. Looks like deliberately (why???) The Navy recovered it and some brave soul is pulling it all to bits. The 63Ps have been sent off for a complete rebuild. The underwater shafts, props etc all look OK and there are no holes in the hull so I guess it was scuppered deliberately by cutting the sea water inlet pipes. Apart from an entire new interior, everything electrical, a new windscreen, major works to all the stainless steel, I think it should be sorted by Christmas............or maybe the one after.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes.
