Someone's having a bad day.

Oooooh dear. Similar thing happened in Swansea Marina some years back, on the Pontoon opposite Force 4. I don't think the staff had even noticed it.

Oops, be interesting to hear what failed to cause that, the boat looks quite new.

Back in the late 80s/early 90s some friend of our had a new sunseeker portofino 31 (I think) and that sank on its mooring - also in puerto portals. If I remember correctly it was put down to a faulty toilet letting water in, just goes to show that yoh should close your seacocks when not on board.

What happens to them ?
Nothing broken no structural damage ( excluding the offending pipe ) its just totally waterlogged.Cant really be repaired and given back to the policy holder I assume?
So once the insurance forks out where does the boat go ? Action house ?

Interestingly there’s been a few insurance posts recently.
Vaguely remember the Sunseeker shield for S/Skr owners would give a direct new replacement if under 36 months .

Wonder if FL ever linked up with the underwriting chaps ?

Hope the owners not too much out of pocket .

All Joking aside ...another line of investigation that needs eliminating is a guardian or “ engineer “ on board phaffing with seacocks and under water pipes ...but I doubt it .Lets give FL some credit they would not use underwater TTH fittings and seacocks made of alka seltzer’s .

Looking at the pics of IPS there’s a lot of pipes + clamps .New instal fine .But if “ engineers “ have been phaffing fixing issues stuff might not have been re secured as well as factory instal / sea trail .

Interesting to find out .

I bet some ones been on it yesterday ?Or as per Clancy Moped ^^^ it’s past it’s Easter haul out ( Corvid 19 ) and there’s an anode issue= Something crucial with IPS or otherwise has expired and the thing holding water back fizzed away .
