He was doing it for quite a while, it took use an hour and a half to get past him, as Fred kept jumping over board!!!

They do it all the time up the river Itchen in Southampton, where ships carrying sand etc dock. They're washing the quayside down where there might have been a bit of 'spillage' from their cargo! Took us a while to figure it out as well.

That must be Hunterston Coal Terminal at Fairlie. I lived on the front at Fairlie for a few year, and overlooked those Cranes. It was good watching the ships coming down the channel towed Bow and Stern by tugs.

I keep looking at the photos expecting to see Luke Skywalker in an X-Wing zoom down and blast the two Imperial walker thingies!
