Some very cheap boats in Europe at the moment

it's just that boats that have received very little, if at all, use for a longer period of time tend to go bad surprisingly quickly. Especially in the med conditions.

Try marinating those neglected boats in some damp freezing UK winters and rainy wet summers.
Water ingress will do far more damage to cabin interiors and engines than the drying breezes and a bit of sun in the Med.
A bit of polish and some new covers/upholstery will sort most Med neglect .
Engine corrosion and rot are a different kettle of fish ?

This was my point, which I admittedly didn't articulate very clearly. I know of two med examples where this worry materialized and IMO med conditions worsen the effects of lack of use/maintenance/servicing.

Why did you see the same boat listed on yachtworld by many brokers for different prices? You don't see this in the USA. Also is common to have a buyers broker in EU?
