Some pictures of our recent trip (Poole)

So we based ourselves at Cobbs Quay for the last week in July. Nice to have the boat in the water rather than slipping it off and on the trailer.

Here we are, just leaving Cobbs Quay through Holes Bay, passing the RNLI training school.

Current and wind was too much for the Yachts in the harbour entrance, the large white one went backwards and sideways through the other two after failing to hold position whislt waiting for the car ferry. Lots of consternation!!

Mooring up for Poole Quay fireworks. Moor on the moorings by Stakes Buoy but get there early to get a place. The fireworks are on a floating pontoon that motors out right in front, a ringside seat.

The "no-anchoring" zone is well marked

Be careful as you don't want one of these in your anchor...

And perhaps the boats overtaking us were not quite as diligent about the speed limits as we were

Very nice once more ML....there are some fine shots amongst your collection sir.

The Condorferries (Sea Cat) are built near where I live, and they seem to appear quite often on forumites photo reports.

Those sunset pics particuarly are quite stunning, well done.

Not now. I used to have a Warrior 195 that was called Maverick but she is now in Ireland. My current boats name is AWOL and looks a little like my avatar
