So you think it is safe to not look where you are going do you.
The initial situation was a boat on the plane in I think the Solent with the helmsman looking sideways taking pictures or possibly a video. If anyone thinks that is safe then god help us all.
Dennis, what do you think people might hit if they look sideways for 15 seconds or so? Just trying to understand your concern.

Just to play devil's advocate, the only situation I can think of where I usually keep an eye forward constantly is in areas full of pots, which sometimes can only be spotted just a few seconds before hitting them.Dennis, what do you think people might hit if they look sideways for 15 seconds or so? Just to play devil's advocate, the only situation I can think of where I usually keep an eye forward constantly is in areas full of pots, which sometimes can only be spotted just a few seconds before hitting them.
Other than that, the difference between a boat and a car is so obvious that it's not even worth explaining...

Boats do not usually drop out of the sky, and if they are about to, the down-draft from the Chinook is a good clue that remedial action is shortly to be required.
