1, most people seem relaxed and content.
2. Checking in at Nieuwpoort not easy. Crew member was leaving and needed a passport stamp. This caused confusion.
3. Stumbled on Big Rivers music weekend event in Dordrecht. 11 sound stages throughout city and many street bands. No punk bands. Magic!
4. Bird watchers should visit Marker Wadden in Markermeer. A new island taken over by birds. Flocks of spoonbills and some flamingos. (No honestly).
5. Just been to a carillon, viola and keyboard concert at Enkhuizen, playing rock classics. Bizarre but wonderful.

You can keep your music but spoonbills are always good news. I have seen them at their well-known site on Texel, as well as on Norderney and Layer Breton causeway.

You made it then ?
We anchored just pass the lock in Lemma .
Moving on to heeg tomorrow and maybe stavoren after that , if your in them part let me know .
Oh and did you anchor in Enkhuizen or use the marina , we had five night at anchor since we been here in Enkhuizen , it seen they charge but no one bothered us .

We came in via Stavoren on Thursday. Anchored in De Fluezen to watch the skutjes racing, so impressive. Shopped in Workum and currently, Sunday, on a lake (Sanmar) between Workum and Heeg. Heading for Sneekermeer to catch some Sneek week atmosphere. Might try Heeg, any comments?

Best of luck with Sneek , that's going to be really busy till after next week end .
Heeg you can anchor just out of the channel and take dinghy into Heeg depending on draft how far out the channel you can go , or if you want some where very peaceful on the island at Marrekrite , about 1 miles east of Heeg with 1.6 we can just about get on the end ,
We just had a couple of nights there.
We off back to Stavoren to day to met up with Dutch friends again .
