They were there in 2008 when we went. The tape is there to keep folks away from an osprey nest on the island, the Wallaby was ignoring it but probably couldn't read the sighns.

I was in the area in 2011and read something in the local tabloids about a plan for a cull. Probabaly the Sunday Post or something equally reliable. Hope it never happened.

Good, so is the photo possibly Kawau Island. Having said that I never saw a MacGregor moored there.
