I advertised on Appollo Duck at the end of June, received enquiries from Ireland and Sweden and a month ago from a couple who live just four miles up the road. Today they became the owners of their first boat which will remain where it has been berthed for the past three and a half years. Being newbies I had to guide them through the buying process and documentation requirements. Fortunately the broker who sold the boat to me did a good job keeping me up to speed with the same requirements.
What of the future ? I am planning a sabbatical to spend time on other hobbies / interests which have had to take a back seat for the past three years. But i will be keeping one eye open for something up to 28' with either a six pot KAD or D4 260 at the stern. From what I have gleaned from this forum the KAD 43 is the best bet. Whatever and I whenever I return to boating the boat will be kept in the Drystack, as I have found the never ending maintenance requirements of keeping a boat permanently in the water a PITA.
Happy Days.
