Solo across Atlantic in 11 footer

I thought this deserved a post of its own.

If younger I would have been mad enough for it.

But there are some serious logistical problems I would have thought... he is going to come out smelling like a tramp quite possibly isn’t he?

I skim read and it said he was taking on water and returned to base to sort it. Don’t know if he has given up.

But let us assume it were to go ahead, how would he eat, sleep, keep watch and use the head?

The article is from May. He sank in the harbour and gave up. He didn't have those problems to deal with.
