Solid mounts with sail drive?

Any reason why a VP 2003 should be solid mounted (No engine mounts) if coupled to a sail drive?

My VP2003 has two conventional forward mounts and one aft on the edge of the saildrive gasket closure ring. I think this is the normal arrangement. It presumably limits vibration effect on the gasket?
