Personally, I don't rate the idea of condensate dripping into the bilge.

Can’t say that I have noticed anything. With a full length insulated exhaust I would expect very little, if anything. With the previous part insulated, and the exhaust dipping when hard over, I used to get some water build up and a heater that took two or three cycles to start. With the new setup it starts first time 98% of the time and any water in the exhaust is dumped through the coils, or at least caught in them.
