Solent to the Thames.. A mini adventure.

Morning all. I'm in the process of planning a mini (single handed) adventure up to the big smoke. Have been looking for a Thames pilot book but with not much joy for the tidal part and route in from Ramsgate direction. Any ideas anyone?

Try "East Coast Rivers" which used to be a Yachting Monthly or IPC publication, but not sure if it still is.
Covers from Ramsgate up the estuary to London and then on up to to the Orwell if my memory serves me right.

I have done this journey many times and local to the area. if you wish me to join at a local harbour and help on the way, I will be happy to help.Also you are welcome to moor up in Faversham where I have a free moorings and no boat.

Thank you all for your responses particularly you Tom, it never ceases to amaze me the helpfullness of the marine "village". Having only become a boat owner since September I have received such wonderful support my only regret is that I did not start earlier!

ps anyone care to sell me an Imray c1 chart, for some reason they have stopped making it.

The C1 should now be back in the shops, it has just been re issued and was in folding 2 weeks ago.
