Can't believe how quiet it was on the Solent today after everyone being "stitched" to the pontoon for so long!. We left Beaulieu at around 11.00am......river was flat calm and conditions hardly changed as we charged across to Cowes. Cowes Yacht Haven was just about empty. Virtually no flotsam (apart from from the odd washed up U -Boat, a Sea serpent and two mermaids!!) to worry about.......great day to be out and about. Good to see a sleek, grey, warrior of death slinking around............keeping an eye on immigrants I presume!!
