Thanks

High tide today is 17:40, so you don't want to be going over Chichester bar on the falling tide, or you'll be thrown around all over the place.

Inshore forecast is "Southwest 4 or 5, veering west or northwest 3 or 4 for a time" for 12:00 today to 12:00 tomorrow, so it should ease off a bit.

CHIMET shows a steady SW F5, dropping slightly, so it all depends on what boat you have, and how happy you are going out in F5.

Edit: Have seen you have a Fairline Sprint.
Should be fun out there - it will be a bit bouncy, but hey...

A bit bouncy, but planing should be possible with the occasional splash.

Dropping off to F4 now: I think it would get better once you could turn westwards at West Pole.
