Just received a text from Premier Marina's saying South Sea Marina has a fishing show on this Saturday and a FREE flare disposal service.

These out-of-date flare disposal facilities are a good idea and I'm pleased they're becoming more common. I brought a coastal pack back from France and got rid of them at Lymington to the Hampshire Constabulary a couple of weeks ago. No charge made, but a donation to a charity was politely requested and gladly given. Solved a problem for me and the charity benefitted by a tenner. :encouragement:

My Dad walked into Woking police station with a bag of old flares last year, they were taken off him and he was sent on his way, I'm sure they were delighted...
