The Southampton Daily Echo once ran a 'McDonalds in the Solent' story.

It was about April 1st if I remember correctly.

Yachting Monthly ran an article a couple of years ago, about ambitious plans to build the UK's first floating sail-in Burger bar, next to the fuel jetty at Warsash. They did an impressive job, complete with artist's impressions and outraged quotes from locals.

I was taken in for 5 minutes, until I realised that it was the April edition......
