Sole' Mini 62

Good morning, I am hoping that someone out there has a Sole' Mini 62 engine on their boat. The reason being that mine is in Greece and I really need to find out if anyone knows of a stock replacement air filter or can give me the dimensions of the OEM air filter so I can try and source one here in the UK before I travel out there in July.

The Sole' replacements are over £80 !! and are spec'd for changing at 400 Hrs. I would really like to change to a K & N washable filter if possible.

Any helpful info will be much appreciated.

Have you spoken to Diamond Diesels? They're the UK Sole dealaer and I've found them very helpful.

Thanks for that colin. I have spoken to Gary at Diamond diesels many times, and purchased various bits and bobs from them but it may be a bit much to start asking him to measure an air filter so I can buy one somewhere else !!

Hi.
As its a Mitsubishi block Sole have marineized...i am pretty sure Sole did
not design this airfilter....
Ask a local Mitsubishi ( not car) dealer / repair shop.
Otherweise enjoy the 2012 season with the "old" filter, and take it back to UK.
Your engine will not go bust if you run it for say 500 hours instead of 400 h.

Renewed the airfilter last year of my italian Ruggerini diesel = € 8,50 some
6 UK pounds!!. This engine is also used in tractors, concrete mixers , generators,
and so on.
Builders and farmers dont pay yacht prices.

Thanks for that Flensdorf, looks like I,ll just have to bring it/dimensions back with me which was always the final option anyway !!!!
