Hi,

Does anyone know of any small tube type heaters that can be permanently fixed into a boat but which are powered off solar panels?

It would be good to have these on the boat particularly in close season and if they can be remotely connected and operated off a mobile so you can turn off or on whether you're on the boat or not.

12v does not appear to be an option and if so would no doubt kill the batteries, I've found 240v versions but again this wouldn't work as I'm on a swinging mooring.

Many thanks.

I think you need to do some maths. Unless you have a lot of solar facing the low winter sun angle you will be lucky to harvest enough power to even keep your batteries topped up on a daily basis.
