Solar Charging System Wiring

Hi all,

just wondering how some of you might wire up the following system.

System comprises of one start battery, two house batteries in parallel, solar charging system, isolation switches all in the usual places.

I want the solar to ALWAYS charge both start and house banks, alternator to be able to charge house but no chance of discharging start bank when engine is stopped.

What is the best way to do this?

it can be done with either relays or switches ,

re the alternator , get a voltage sensing relay . just set it to 13v , then when the alternator is pushing out power it can join both batteries together , then as the engine turns off it will disconnect

Get a solar controller capable of charging two separate battery banks / dual battery
