Before you leave the the Ria de Vigo......Cangas on the north shore is worth visit if you have not already done so.

We haven't stopped there yet. Wind was from SW and there was a bit of swell when passing Cangas and we continued to Moana. Quite nice there, we spent 2-3 days at anchor and 1 night in the marina. I seem to remember that maximum length was 10 metres for Cangas and we are 13m with 2.2m draft. I think that we will probably try anchoring off Canga some time as long as wind isn't from S.

Yes in northerlies its good anchourage off the beach but I have also seen yachts anchoured to the south of the mole;certainly a yacht of 13mtrs will find little space in the marina.
