Hi, does anyone know of a supplier of good quality soft mooring lines that will ship to France. I need
16-18mm 12m and four of them. Locally the nice black multi braided ones are over five euros per metre for 16mm and off cuts are sold at full price.

Thanks for that, I looked them up but what they have is
Braided Nylon with 16 plait polyester cover
I think that is different to multiplait soft rope, to be honest I am even sure what this type of rope is called.

Yes I was thinking about them, its just that the nearest one is on the other side of Toulon and I lacked the motivation to drive there

I was in Uship yesterday and they wanted 51€ for a 10m off cut (don't know if it was spliced)

A good sized difference but there is a charge for splicing
And yes everything is expensive in boating terms

All my warps come from Lanex. I order directly at the factory in the Czech Republic, communication is easy by email. Happy so far with the quality, especially with splicing. An example from my last order:
LAGUNA 16mm black with 40 cm eye on one side and 100 cm eye on the other end, 12 m length = 45,40 EUR/pc plus shipping (it was 20 EUR to Italy for two warps).

Why did you choose laguna over say flexon?

Sorry for my late reply. No particular reason for choosing laguna. I just told them the needed diameter / length and they came back with this proposition. What and where did you order finally?
