Would like to find some self-tapping, socket-headed stainless screws (csk ,even better) to make it easier refitting 3 windows. (access for a philips/pozi is very hard due to angled screen with wooden shelf below).

Can't find any myself in the UK......anyone know of a supplier?

Thanks

Found some...

...<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.a2a4.co.uk/acatalog/SECURITY_SECTION.html> here </A>. Both socket, about halfway down, and more esoteric security screws and self-tappers.

Re: Found some...

Thanks Dave & everyone else....the a2a4 ones are security type, with a pin in the middle....not sure I can find an allen key to drive them, but will look; only 1/4" bits so far.

Re: Found some...

Thanks Tom, I've only found the 1/4 hex bits so far...so that'll be very useful.

& thanks Philip; I need an L-shaped allen key rather than a "bit" to get a decent force to the screws....as fitted I have to use a 1/4 hex philips bit + a 1/4" spanner......rather awkward when straddling the steps forward to reach the centre screen.

Previous (Dutch) boatyard obviously gave up when faced with this & glued the outer frame in place, totally omitting the screws along the bottom of each window frame after removal for re-painting.

Try a small ¼" drive ratchet with a ¼" hex socket and put the bit in the socket
