does anyone know if there is any alternative parking for the london boat show. What with both of us having to watch the pennies this year due to work issues, I wondered if there was a cheaper parking option then the £10 per day official car park, which although is great for location, is a bit steep. They are advertising a park n ride, but apparentley they won't open that until the official car park is full (bit of a con if you ask me).
anyone know of anyway you can park cheaper, maybe a car park one stop further on the tube?
Ring up one of the big boat builders, ask what the availabilty of a 50ft boat is, when they tell you what is available and they ask if you have seen one before.. pause say "no" do you have one on show at Excel, or similar they say "yes" and you get VIP tickets...
Going to do the final speck for a new pred 92s I am managing the build of then skippering for the next 3 years Mine should have been the boat show boat but I decided to take the next hull and keep the carpets clean.
We're going Thursday late morning. Late night thurs and the stands usually put something on. Last year on the sunny seaker stand it was moulin rouge theme and someone with hula hoops. Next time I saw him he was on x factor. Not that I watch x factor. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

After the flop of Earls Court - although I see in MB&Y it was a success??? - I'm right up for a day at the show.
With all the gloom and doom about, and the BBC news making everyone reach for the sword upon which to fall on , I'm ready for a bit of boating sort of thing. Really looking forward although I hate Excel with a passion.
