Dont keep a log, so a bit by memory.
New year. Tried to get out the Plymouth sound but the waves kept chucking us back. Settled for a trip round the sound with Pissetavelly possed and a visit to Cawsands and a beer. Then up to Calstock up the Tamar.
Febuary.
A party in Londinium. No boat involved, only forumites.
26 Feb. Plymouth to fowey, then Falmouth. Cos eberwatsit packed in so needed electricery and fan heater. Hung about Falmouth for a few days, & maybe then went to the Helford river.
Returned to Plymouth via round about route, f6 and pissed wet through, v.v.v rough trip, no heating and no bloody electric at the marina when we arrived back. Hiked up to office for hire lead. before finally proving there was no lectrickery, no matter what we did. Still shivering!!
April 21---3 May
Torquay, Brixham, Dartmouth, Salcolmbe.
Some each way. Cant remember. River Yelm somewhere in between.
June'ish
Plymouth, Looe, Fowey. Scilly isles. Fab trip, superbe weather and the Scillies just like a south sea island, golden sands, cristle clear water. A Jem. But dont get caught out!!
Newlyne, nice cheap diesel, 35p, then round the corner to Penzance. Fowey and back to Plymouth.
July 21
Plymouth...Weymouth, poole, Yarmouth, Lymington, Cohchester and a few places in between. The bloody deap water alarm went off just passed the Needles!! Weymouth, Dartmouth, Salcolmbe, Plymouth. Calstock, Plymouth.
Not taking into account quite a few barge trips, back and forth up and down the Lancaster canal. Including trip down inumerable locks to Glasson Dock and back. Canal boat club do's and BINGO!!!
Oh and Long John turned up a couple of times. Met up with Wiggo at Weymouth. A bloke in Brixham with his boat, that was working on the next house down the road from us just north of Preston. A Lancaster canal riverite that was a bit amazed at seeing us in Weymouth, and even more agog when we met him again going down the Lancaster canal.
