A whole lot nicer up here near Kristiansund, and because we came through the fjords for shelter, I got to see some wonderful potential cruising grounds around Aalesund- didn't you start off Norway there this summer Chris_E? As nice as it looks?

Yep, we were there for the last two summers. Extrremely beautiful cruising grounds. There's a couple of snaps below, one in the winter and one in the summer, to whet your appetite. I've picked up some info on the area from tourist info in Kristiansund, and really must get ashore there and do some real prowling. The scenery is stunning. Especially with snow and sunshine like yesterday.
