So where are they going to in the Azores

Oh no. Nothing so simple. He is flying home as he is in an amateur dramatic production of Oliver (typecast as a drunk /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) and then flying back to fetch his boat. He came to Ostend after sailing his boat from Bradwell to Plymouth and then went back to Plymouth. He doesn't like to miss out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Won't someone tell me where they are going to??

Hi Moody Sabre

At the briefing ( in the rain) Vittoria.

Had some attrition already - Tony Saunders in his Varne Folkboat Lo Shu has retired with steering-gear problems. Bill Hockley in his Cutlass 27 Prime Suspect found himself overwhelmed with seasickness 200 miles out, and has also retired, making it safely back home. He reports that it was great to be involved with the adventure, but simply couldn't cope with his incapacity, something that on other - shorter - cruises had simply been an annoyance. Good decision, and proof that Jester is all about sensible choices and good seamanship rather than competition.

With the help of the 2006 winner Eric Andlauer, we hope to keep regular updates of progress here.

Cheers

Jake
