So whats up at Sunseeker

1000 posts? Not even enough to get you into the foyer of the club mate.

5000 minimum, then you have to have the right post per day count, no good having 5000 if you have been here for 10 years, 2 years maybe. Then you have to have least 2 forum burgees (one for the tender). Also, if you are of the lower classes, you really need to double the entry requirements because you will need to convince us you are not just here spying for the red army (Labour that is).

Of course not all the forums are like this, Scuttlebutt is fairly easy going but then they have no idea how to make a decent G&T. PbO is meant to be a bit friendly, but they have a sort of reversed set of standards - where we dont really want any grease on our white flannel slacks and beige upholstery, if you dont reek of WD40 and look like you spent the last 20 hours hugging your 3 cyinder donkey back to life then you'll get booted out of there pretty quicky, regardless of how many posts you have made.

Bets thing is sit quietly, hide at the back a bit, go somewhere, write a load about it end get your post count up, post pictures to show you belong here, we'll make a descision on whether your boat is bling enough and you just might, *might*, be deemed to be postworthy.

Dont even ask about the senior members forum - 8000 post minimum there mate, but its a good laugh for secretly poking fun at the plebs for those in the know.

....please keep your opinion to yourself as you haven't posted over 1000 posts, your not wise and you haven't praised jfm lately.

Though if you're a dentist, a surgeon, or even better a dental surgeon we're all ears :D

Oh drat.. im only poor working class....ahh thats a different thred.....

sorry im just being silly now ;) love this thred

'botty kissing' (you know who you are), more ! more !

hear in grace brothers :- no similarities here though

Mr Lucas (to Japanese customer): "No my name is not Mr Rucas, it's Mr Lucas."

Japanese gentleman: "Hello Mr Rucas."

Mr Lucas: "No, it's Llllu...cas, Mr Lucas."

Captain Peacock: Mr Lucas, this man is Japanese, and so he has trouble.....getting his tongue round his R's..."

Mr Humphries: "Oh....I would have thought it was just a matter of practice."

Wheres Mrs Slocum when you need her

:D:D

I know I said that I had made my last comment here, but really, what's all this about! pubs kicked out have they?

There are serious issues being discussed here, so can you please keep this thread on track or it will end up a farce!

This is my very last comment on the matter as I have no further useful input to give.

Aren't you supposed to be in the lounge!!!

FYI

Definition of Integrity

1. adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
2. the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire.
3. a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of a ship's hull.

Who possesses all of these in spades then?.

I KNOW!!!!!!

Gordon Brown - you know, he's the man you voted for!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Don't be shy, your posts enlightened the forum so far. You know, all of us surgeons, dentists and the likes appreciate the value of a good laugh after all, regardless of how useful the content behind it actually is!...
On a side note, what boat are you buying? A Manhattan 70', by chance?
