So whats up at Sunseeker

Errr, this was brought up in this thread if you look, the "and I knew I was right" is in that this proves it is all nonsense and has been dealt with by Sunseeker in that press release.

Please DO NOT stir things up, it is not very ladylike! that is all I have to say on the matter.

I may well contact you for other advice, but in the meantime I will stick to the lounge where people are less aggresive!

The above quote has got to be the statement of the thread by far.

You entered .... sorry, bulldozed your way into the topic, with the the sublety of a Winston Churchill stunt double smoking a cigar that has been spiked with skunk, while being chased in the dark by a swarm of wasps. You then realise your luck, that in amongst all the turmoil, you didn't get stung once, but rather than count your blessings, you say "I'm off to the lounge, it's too aggresive in here!"

Un-bloody believable!

And as for

You really are having a laugh .... please, tell me you weren't serious?

That's interesting. Having flamed jfm for passing on information about SS, Westie now claims he suspected there was something wrong all along.

From The Lounge - Clicky

Chris, you can bet your last dollar, that if JFM says he knows something about a situation, he does and will tell it truthfully. Though for obvious reasons, there are things he can not/will not say.

A few folk have marked westie's card on the lounge, before his latest outrage.

Just to remind any newbies, some of us have been around here for many years and know each other very well. We mostly know each others strengths and weaknesses and react accordingly.

Yes it's just a forum, but one that has had dentists and surgeons as members. Plus a whole host of experts in all subjects known to man.

I wish folk would not jump in so quick to criticise the wise.

Who the hecks calls buying a boat an 'investment' - It couldn't be more the oppisite, it's a depreciating money-pit!

I have certainly just discovered that with a much more modest purchase than a SS ;)

Personally, I would not have been brave enough to post anything which could be construed as defamatory to a company on this forum as my finances could not stretch to mounting a legal defense.

Is Sunseeker a travel agent?

So what do you think, l-n-l, will westie's deposit be ok if he gets an ABTA bond?

Just a reflection, I sent w34 a pm this morning. Had a very pleasant reply. I'm hoping to see some pix of the new squeaker in build.

Hello HLB,
I will try to phrase this very carefully to avoid any accusation of offence

1). Accepted that a number of contributors have been around for 'many years'

2). A group of you do know each others strengths and weaknesses & you tend to agree amongst yourselves with each others opinions, this is normal practise where people are familiar with each other.

3). The strength of any discussion / forum is in the cross section of its members not necessarily their professional status. We have all encountered professional idiots and wise non-professionals, and of course vice versa.

4). Wisdom is not necessarily a product of volume of output.

I think that as you refer to them 'Newbies' are nervous of making a contribution as they are concerned by being 'slapped down' by the 'wise men' if their opinion is at variance from that of the 'wise men'

Regards

Adrian

A sweeping statement. I am presently arguing on the cross channel paperwork thread in Scuttlebutt that the accepted opinion is not necessarily correct.

Try telling HLB that bow thrusters are the bees knees.

Unfortunately, with statements like that you come across as anything but wise.

....please keep your opinion to yourself as you haven't posted over 1000 posts, your not wise and you haven't praised jfm lately.

Though if you're a dentist, a surgeon, or even better a dental surgeon we're all ears :D
