So what did you think of the boat show,

•Over £1000 average spend per head (excluding the spend on Boats)

•Some £1.6 billion pounds is spent by visitors as a result of attending the Show

•23% intend to choose a new boat at the Show

Those stats can't be right can they?

Well, there was two of us and 50% bought a new boat....

...spent less than £1000 though :D

i thought is was a great show, Mrs W and I had a good time most likely enhanced by the fact the grandparents were looking after our two little ones.

No complaints re layout or exhibitors really, looking forward to next years show.

Had great day Saturday, didn't see anyone I knew there.... I did hear that princess lost out on very huge order (£25million+) through not allowing a gent a viewing on Saturday, heard they did same last year as well....

So how many boats was this *gent* planning on buying? I think Princess would be happy for him to visit their factory if he was spending that much......................

I heard he was after 4, wasn't sure on which build but went elsewhere when he was refused an onboard look around....

Absolutely definitely bound to be true! :D

I expect it was the same poor fella that keeps getting turned away from Rolls Royce dealerships because he looks like a tramp, only to turn back up a week later in a brand new Rolls Royce that he bought down the road cos he was secretly an eccentric millionaire.

Probably made all that money when he sued that motorhome company after he crashed because he put the cruise control and went to make a cup of tea...
