Bit the bullet and bought Otium, a sealine 365.

The work start this weekend. Scrubbing, going over the survey points and working out when to get the legs and engines serviced. image.jpg

Diesel. A pair of Aqd41a's Running dp 290 legs.

For us it's fixing float switches, general cleaning, drying out the cabin and inventorying the spare parts bins.

And coming up with a plan for the survey recommendations. There a few, mostly smaller jobs. Need to rebed the horn, grab rail.

Eventually they'll be tek dek and cockpit fridge replacement, and lastly bar fridge stocking and draining heehee.

Congratulations on your new boat, half the fun is getting her just how you want her and this is the place to be for advice and support.

A few pics are always welcome so we can all see your progress

More pics needed! Just realised which boat she is i thought you were getting a 360. Those 365 are lovely, and a whole load bigger. Need to buy a cat to swing.

Thanks for the good wishes. My wife and I rebuilt a 40 foot motorsailer a few years back. This one is much less of a project. She has water, heating, 240 volt, galley, heads and real fuel tanks, rather than 50 gallon oil drum! All of which we fitted to the old girl.

Elessar, the room is great, far more than we had on the old one. Headroom isn't great inside, but no big deal. Plenty under the cockpit canopy. Still up for a run to limehouse in March after we get the mechanicals sorted out?
