So it's started.

After a long winter and 8 weeks ashore the boat was re floated last week. Monday saw me take her back to her home berth on the Hamble. Today was going to be a day of cleaning inside and out. But, the weather was so good we decided to do the cleaning tomorrow and head off to the Folly for lunch instead. And what a pleasant surprise, it's been nicely refurbished inside and out with the addition of a chip shop in the garden area, new external seating and a new extended frontage. It was a very pleasant afternoon, if a little pricy (£15 for a portion of cod and chips).
Always lovely to be by the water at the Folly.

Cracking day in Solent today, was tempted to visit the folly but ended up fishing off stokes bay, rewarded with two big bass and countless dog fish.
