Weekend Plans

I had hoped to explore some of the creeks in the estuary and the Swale etc today, but having seen the forecast I am thinking of cruising down to the Malta for lunch tomorrow and maybe further.

Typical yesterday was great but had to do some work on the boat

Nope....rules as per Thames now,you come in for limited time under the promise not to use your sea bog.

Went into our club last night expecting to be all on our lonesome,absolutely bursting with club members who cancelled various trips and a contingent from upper Medway boat clubs down for the weekend,quite a good evening.
Just getting all the bits and bobs together,will soon have water round the boat,need to get up to Aylesford regards airdraft other wise tedious wait until tide ebbs sufficiently.

Cold not welcome but threat of rain .......bring it on and in shedloads.

We desperately need the rain and I, for one, won't complain about it as long as the temperature is more comfortable.

As for modifying our plans, we had intended to spend at least some time on the boat this weekend but have now settled for a ride on the bus and the matinee performance of Barefoot in the Park with Maureen Lipman at the Yvonne Arnauld .

As for tomorrow and Monday .... have to wait and see.
